On the morning of May 1, amid lush green lawns and blooming flowers in the Ceramic Town, a special guest arrived: Chi Minghua, former captain of the Chinese national football team and a celebrated figure in Chinese soccer. At the invitation of the Beiliu City Football Association, Chi Minghua made a special trip to Beiliu to attend the opening ceremony of the semifinals of the “Guokong Cup” 2025–2026 Guangxi County-Level Football Super League, and took the opportunity to explore the Ceramic Town, experiencing the unique ceramic culture and industrial appeal of Beiliu.
Accompanied by the leaders of the Beiliu City Football Association, Chi Minghua and his delegation visited the Ceramics Museum, the Ceramics Window, and the Hydrogen Expo Experience Hall. At the Ceramics Museum, as he examined one exquisite ceramic piece after another, Chi Minghua paused frequently, scrutinizing each item closely. Upon learning that Sanhuan Group has repeatedly undertaken national porcelain‑making projects and is a “designated producer of official Chinese state porcelain,” he sincerely remarked: “The art of pottery and the art of playing football are, in essence, the same—both demand patience, dedication, and relentless refinement to shine brightly in the marketplace and on the field.”
At the Hydrogen Expo Experience Hall, Chi Minghua enthusiastically explored the applications of hydrogen technology in the health sector and even sampled “Quanqingle” hydrogen-rich water on the spot.
For many years, Sanhuan Group has quietly supported the development of football in Beiliu. As the principal sponsor of the Beiliu team in this “County Super League” tournament, Sanhuan Group has not only provided full backing to the event but has also, over the years, consistently sponsored numerous grassroots and school‑based football initiatives in Beiliu City, doing its utmost to foster the local football scene.
“The development of football cannot do without a strong grassroots foundation, nor can it thrive without the support of businesses,” said Chi Minghua. He added that Sanhuan Group has demonstrated remarkable foresight and responsibility by taking concrete actions to give back to society and champion grassroots football. He expressed his hope that, as the company continues to support the growth of football, the sport’s culture will in turn enrich the enterprise, infusing Sanhuan with an even stronger spirit of perseverance and ambition, thus fostering a win-win relationship between sports and business.
This visit by Chi Minghua has not only injected a renewed sporting momentum into the Ceramic Town but has also further underscored Sanhuan Group’s corporate commitment to “crafting national porcelain with artisanal dedication and supporting football with heartfelt passion.” Upholding its deep-rooted local ethos, Sanhuan Group will continue to drive high‑quality industrial development while actively helping Beiliu’s football scene reach new heights.
