On April 18, Beiliu City held the completion ceremony for Phase I and the groundbreaking ceremony for Phase II of the Sanhuan Ceramics Town project. The completion of Phase I marks significant progress in the transformation and innovation of Beiliu's ceramic industry. The ceramics town currently covers an area of approximately 600 mu, is built in three phases, with a total investment of approximately 2 billion yuan. After completion, the ceramics town and the Beiliu ceramic industry it drives are expected to have an annual income exceeding 5 billion yuan.
Phase I of the ceramics town project includes Phase I of the ceramics museum, the World Ceramics Window, a conference center, and a high-end ceramic production line. In the ceramics museum, visitors can experience the latest, coolest, and most exciting technological achievements. First, a three-dimensional animation film lasting over 3 minutes vividly recreates the scene of ceramic production and sales on the banks of the Beiliu River (Guijiang River) in the past. Second, visitors can put on VR equipment and enter a simulated three-dimensional space to experience Beiliu's long history and culture firsthand. Phase II of the project mainly includes the construction of the Guangxi Daily-use Ceramics Engineering Institute, an intelligent high-end ceramic production line, a training center, Phase II of the ceramics museum, and the restoration project of the Beiliu Lingdong ancient dragon kiln. Phase II is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
