A new ceramics boutique hall was added, enhancing the focus on high-quality products. The newly established Beiliu Ceramics Boutique Hall, combined with last year's e-commerce hall, showcased the finest products from 24 major ceramic companies in Beiliu, exhibiting the latest, best, and most exquisite products to showcase and promote Beiliu; a Jingdezhen Ceramics Boutique Hall was also established, organized by the Jingdezhen Ceramics Association, featuring high-quality daily-use ceramics and art ceramics created by national and provincial masters.
Integration of brand projects, creating a stronger characteristic atmosphere. This project, based on the daily-use ceramics industry, builds a characteristic eco-town with "food, accommodation, transportation, entertainment, and education" functions, representing a significant step in promoting the transformation and upgrading of Beiliu's ceramics industry and expanding its scale.
In addition, five famous appraisal experts, Wu Nianqin, Wang Yucheng, Huang Ding, Gao Mingli, and Wu Qiupeng, came to Beiliu to conduct appraisal activities, attracting numerous citizens and tourists and significantly boosting the popularity of the Ceramics Expo.
Award-winning ceramic works unveiled
On April 19, the organizing committee of the Ceramics Expo announced the results of the product innovation design awards for the 7th Ceramics Expo.
The participating works came from eight provinces and regions, including Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hunan, Fujian, Guangdong, Yunnan, and Guangxi. 288 works were submitted by 253 authors from 126 companies, schools, and studios, covering two categories: craft art ceramics and daily-use ceramics. A total of 136 award-winning works were selected. Among them, 17 works submitted by eight authors from Sanhuan Group, Xin Gaosheng, and Taoyuan Studio in Beiliu City won one gold award, two silver awards, two bronze awards, and two excellence awards.
The gold award-winning work from Beiliu City is a vase titled "Guangxi Wonders," created by Yin Jianhui, a ceramic master signed by Sanhuan Group's master studio. The vase is shaped like a pipa (a Chinese lute), and its exterior, through high-temperature kiln-change technology, displays red and blue colors of varying shades and ever-changing patterns, enhanced by relief effects, giving the entire work a great sense of beauty. The work is extremely difficult to make, showcasing Sanhuan Group's extremely high level of craftsmanship in ceramic shaping and glaze technology.
