On the morning of April 23, 2019, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Beiliu City Ceramics Industrial Park natural gas pipeline direct supply project was held next to Xinsong Company in Ceramics Town. Liang Xiaoping, Director of the Standing Committee of the Beiliu Municipal People's Congress; Li Yongcai, Chairman of the Beiliu Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; Chen Jilin, Deputy Secretary of the Beiliu Municipal Party Committee; Su Qing, Party Secretary of Shanwei Town; Li Yining, Town Mayor of Min'an Town; and Jiang Yong, Deputy General Manager of Guangxi Guantou Gas Co., Ltd., attended the ceremony. More than 300 people participated in the ceremony, including cadres from the Municipal Department of Economy, Trade and Science and Technology, Min'an Town, and Shanwei Town; representatives of managers and employees from Sanhuan Group; and representatives from the project construction owners. The ceremony was presided over by Gao Wei, Deputy Mayor of Beiliu City, and consisted of three items.

Groundbreaking Ceremony Site

The first item was a speech by Jiang Yong, Deputy General Manager of Guangxi Guantou Gas Co., Ltd. He stated that Guantou Yubei Gas Company, a joint venture between Guangxi Investment Group and Sanhuan Group, mainly invests in and operates natural gas projects in Beiliu City. This is to effectively reduce the cost of gas for Beiliu City, improve the business environment and ecological environment, and contribute to the economic development of Beiliu. The investment and construction of the Beiliu City Ceramics Industrial Park natural gas pipeline direct supply project is a concrete manifestation of the autonomous region's "county-wide access" natural gas project in Guangxi, guiding the efficient use of natural gas in Beiliu City, creating a good business environment, promoting the development of the ceramics industry and even the entire industry and commerce in Beiliu City, helping to improve Beiliu's ecological environment, and improving people's living standards.

The second item was a speech by Chen Jilin, Deputy Secretary of the Beiliu Municipal Party Committee. He emphasized that the commencement of the Beiliu City Ceramics Industrial Park natural gas pipeline direct supply project leverages the Guangxi "county-wide access" natural gas project and the rapid development of Beiliu's ceramics industry. This is an important measure to reduce natural gas costs for industrial enterprises in Beiliu City, especially the ceramics industry. He hoped that all levels and departments would form a high degree of consensus, with a strong sense of responsibility to create a good environment for project construction and provide the best and most convenient services. He also requested timely coordination to resolve difficulties and problems encountered during project construction to ensure the smooth progress of the project. He also hoped that the project owner would carefully organize, scientifically schedule, safely construct, and efficiently and orderly advance the project construction to ensure that the project is completed, put into production, and achieves results as soon as possible!

It is understood that the Beiliu City Ceramics Industrial Park natural gas pipeline direct supply project is invested and constructed by Guangxi Guantou Yubei Gas Co., Ltd. (jointly invested by Guangxi Guantou Gas Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangxi Investment Group Co., Ltd., and Guangxi Sanhuan Enterprise Group Co., Ltd.), with a total investment of 45.61 million yuan. The project receives gas from the Yulin-Beiliu natural gas branch line and includes line engineering, station engineering, and ancillary facilities.

The project line starts 2 meters outside the wall of the Beiliu distribution station of Guangxi Guantou Natural Gas Pipeline Company in Li Village, Shanwei Town, Beiliu City. It passes through Shanwei Town, Minle Town, and Min'an Town in Beiliu City. The pipeline is approximately 11.3km long, with a diameter of 273.1mm. The pipe material is L290M straight-seam high-frequency resistance welded steel pipe, with a design pressure of 4.0Mpa and a designed annual gas transmission volume of 200 million cubic meters. The pressure regulating station is located in the Sanhuan Industrial Park in Min'an Town, covering approximately 11 mu. The pressure regulating station receives gas from the upstream Yulin-Beiliu natural gas pipeline branch line (gas source: China-Myanmar natural gas pipeline, West-East Gas Pipeline II). One line is filtered, metered, regulated, gas distributed, and odorized before being transported to various industrial users, while the other line directly supplies the distributed energy station. While meeting the long-term gas needs of users in the ceramics industrial park and the distributed energy station, a reserved civilian distribution port is set up.

After completion, the project will not only provide industrial, residential, and commercial users in Beiliu City with high-quality, safe, and stable pipeline natural gas, but will also further optimize Beiliu's business environment, reduce enterprise production costs, and continuously stimulate market vitality and social creativity.
