On the afternoon of November 7, 2020, Li Ping, former deputy secretary of the Party Committee, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee, and deputy-hall-level researcher of Guangxi University of Science and Technology; Yang Jianchao, director of the Guangxi University of Science and Technology Alumni Office and secretary-general of the Education Development Foundation; and Huang Jiangling, an alumna of Guangxi University of Science and Technology and chairman of Guangxi Wanling Investment Group, visited Sanhuan Group for an inspection. They learned about the group's development, exchanged corporate management experiences, and discussed cooperation among alumni. Chen Cheng, chairman and president of the group, warmly received them.
The Guangxi University of Science and Technology leaders and alumni visited Guangxi Guoxiang New Materials Co., Ltd., the Ceramics Museum, the Ceramics Window, and Guangxi Sanhuan Gaoko Raman Technology Co., Ltd. in the Ceramics Town. Chairman Chen Cheng gave a detailed introduction to the group's development plan and current operating situation. Chen Cheng said that after years of exploration and effort, the group has developed from a business primarily focused on daily-use ceramics to one with three major industries: daily-use ceramics, new materials, and cultural industries. In the traditional daily-use ceramics industry, the group has reduced production capacity while improving product quality, achieving a reduction in production capacity without reducing output value. Relying on technological innovation and extensive cooperation with research institutions such as Tsinghua University and Jingdezhen Ceramic University, the group has made significant breakthroughs in new ceramic materials and health-related new materials. This will become the group's most promising business segment in the future. By leveraging the rich Bei Liu ceramic culture, the group is actively promoting and inheriting ceramic culture. Using the Ceramics Town as a platform, the group is developing industrial tourism, skills training, and cultural and creative products, focusing on research and learning, and vigorously developing the ceramic cultural industry.
The Guangxi University of Science and Technology leaders and alumni spoke highly of the group's achievements, believing that Sanhuan Group, building on more than 30 years of development, is not complacent but is keeping up with the times, striving for innovation, and actively promoting its transformation and upgrading strategy, vigorously developing high-tech materials industries. They noted that the group's operations are pragmatic, culturally rich, cohesive, and full of innovative vitality, with a very broad development prospect. They also expressed hope for increased exchanges and cooperation among alumni in the future, achieving resource complementarity and mutual benefit in multiple areas. Zhou Quan, Liang Yufeng, Zheng Xiangyu, and Deng Bin, the group's president assistants, administrative director, and human resources director, respectively, accompanied the reception.
